Michele McSweeney, age 61, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Friday, October 16, 2015, at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She was born June 14, 1954 in Elyria, OH.

Michele enjoyed antiques, road trips, and collecting antiques on road trips. Her adventures off the beaten path were spent hiking, biking and being a beautiful person. Her love for family, the outdoors and a glass of wine were unbounded, her warm smile inviting.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, together for 45 years, Robert McSweeney; two children, Rob (Theresa) McSweeney, and Jason McSweeney; four grandchildren, Payton and Robby, and Jason and Donavan; two sisters, Cheryl (Tom) Kordas and Janine (Matt) Mills; her brother, Roger (Donna) Holliday; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 5-9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL.
