Michael Turner, age 53, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, passed away on April 19, 2021 in Aurora, IL from complications caused by the Covid-19 virus. He was born on June 20, 1967 in Winfield, Illinois to Virgil and Donna Turner.

Mike grew up in Carol Stream, Illinois and was a 1985 graduate of Glenbard North High School. He worked in the automotive industry for over 35 years and was currently employed as a service advisor at Northside Toyota in Chicago. Mike was quick-witted and loved to make jokes and was well known for giving people silly nicknames. As an avid Cubs and Bears fan, when able, he supported his teams by attending many of their games, and often sported their apparel. He loved sports and previously played recreational softball. Mike was an ardent supporter of animals, and he had a special fondness for his beloved dog, Payton. He will be especially missed by his nieces and nephews, whom he had a unique bond with.

He is survived by his father, Virgil Turner, Jr. of Carol Stream, IL; brother, Thomas (Kristi) Turner of Murphy, TX; his sisters, Susan (George) Brouwer of Winfield, IL; Barbara (Gary) Krause of Warrenville, IL; Mary Frost of Elburn, IL; and Laura (Fred) Gosbeth of Carol Stream, IL, brothers, Steven (Linda) Turner of Glen Ellyn, IL; and Robert (Liberty) Turner of Aurora, IL. Additionally, he was uncle to 19 nieces and nephews, and 11 great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Julie McCauley; his niece, Elizabeth Loosli; and his mother, Donna Turner.
