Michael J. Licata, age 42, a resident of Winfield, IL, died May 16, 2016. He was born August 15, 1973 in Melrose Park to Dominic and Ruby Licata.
He grew up in Wood Dale, IL and graduated from Lake Park High School. He attended the College of DuPage and served in the U.S. Army. He was a shipping/receiving specialist for Duratherm Processing Systems in St. Charles and most recently has worked as a dispatcher for E.B.S. in West Chicago.
Mike enjoyed computer sciences and was an avid gamer. He loved cooking and eating.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby, his sisters, Vicki (James) Hicks, Carry (Rhonda) Mangrum, and brother Jeffrey (Marisa) Mangrum, and dear nieces and nephews, Shawna, Nyssa, Greyson, Holly, Joshua and Isabella, and great-nephew Kendrick and baby E. on the way. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles and his special friends, Carol and Paul Mapes.
He is preceded in death by his father and his dog Logan.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until the start of a memorial service to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 23 in the chapel at Calvary Church, 9S200 Illinois Rt. 59, Naperville, IL 60564.
