Michael J. Karol, age 34, passed away October 4, 2020 in Elgin, IL. He was born April 28, 1986 in Park Ridge, IL to Michael & Paula Karol.

Michael (Mikey) Karol was born with a big heart and a smile that would shine through a room.  He was a prankster, and a practical joker, Always quick to take a jab at someone in jest.  He was also quiet, and always in thought when you talked with him taking in the conversation and listening to what you have to say, and always delivered a smirk out of the side of his mouth Whether he disagreed with you or just found you funny.

Michael was a protector, and family always came first.  He was always there for his sister, and he always made his rounds and checked in on his family.  He was the guy that was first to pull over to help if someone Was broke down on the side of the road.

He loved his saxophone, and playing music.  He loved his fishing, and going out on the boat.  But his biggest passion was flying airplanes.  The way he would talk about flying would put you in the plane with him and put you off on flight in the co-pilots seat.-

Michael will be deeply missed and remain in the hearts in his loved ones forever.

He is survived by his mother, Paula Karol of Fort Meyers, FL and his sister Megan Karol. Also survived by his aunt and uncle Tracy & Jim Rosenbaum; and cousins: Steve Jr. & April Karolewicz, Jason & Scott Rosenbaum, and Landon Satterthwaite.

Preceded in death by his father Michael C. Karol; his sister Darelle Karol; and his uncle Steve Karolewicz Sr.
