Michael B.
Harrington
February 14, 1948 – April 17, 2026
A proud United States Navy veteran, he carried himself with a quiet strength and a stubborn determination that defined his life. His service was a source of deep pride and helped shape the steady, resilient man he became. He was a man of few words, but his love ran deep—shown not through grand gestures, but through his steadfast presence, his reliability, and his unwavering commitment to those he cared about.
Beneath his reserved nature was a loyal and devoted heart—one that never stopped loving those he had lost and those he held close.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sheryl Colburn, whom he missed dearly for many years. There is comfort in knowing they are now reunited. He was also preceded in death by his father, Lawrence, and his mother, Merlyn.
He is survived by his son, Ryan Harrington, and daughter-in-law, Jill LaPearl Harrington; and his cherished grandsons, Michael Harrington and Eric Harrington, who brought him great pride.
He is also survived by his siblings: Patrick Harrington; David Harrington; Laurie Curley and her husband, Dennis Curley; Jill Harrington and her daughter, Katie Hollander; and Barbara Harrington.
His service to his country was a source of pride, and the values he carried from it—honor, loyalty, and quiet strength—remained with him throughout his life. He will be remembered not only as a veteran, but as a man who lived with integrity, stood by his family, and loved in a steady, enduring way.
Fair winds and following seas.
