Michael Cooky, age 57, a resident of Winfield, died at home on Saturday, August 4, 2007. He was born on March 13, 1950 in Chicago to Samuel and Mary Cooky.

Until recently, Michael was president of ARi Industries in Addison. He was an award winning salesman in the thermocouple industry for over 30 years. A Corvette enthusiast, Michael was a member of several Corvette Clubs.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Linda, three children, Cheryl (Orasio Becerra) Cooky of Los Angeles, CA, Kevin Cooky of Prospect Heights, and Laura Cooky of Prospect Heights, and two sisters, Sharon (Eugene) Esposito and Nancy (Ronald) Ottersen.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7, from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8 at 10:00 A.M.

Interment will follow at Oakridge/Glen Oak Cemetery in Hillside.
