Max O. Welz's Obituary
Max O. Welz, age 86, a resident of Winfield, IL, died Monday, February 29, 2016, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. He was born May 24, 1929 in Elmhurst, IL.
Max and his brother were the owners and operators of Welz Appliance Service in Wheaton for over 44 years,
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce; his four children, Katherine (James) Martin of Batavia, IL, Peter (Linda) Welz of West Chicago, IL, Michael (Lisa) Welz of Yorkville, IL, Rebecca (Brian) Stiner of Batavia, IL; nine grandchildren; his sister, Alice "Rose" Ahasic; and his brother, Werner (Patricia) Welz.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, where a funeral will be held on Friday, March 4, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
Memorial gifts may be directed to The Salvation Army , 615 Slaters Lane, P.O. Box 269, Alexandria, VA 22313.
