Maurice Quinn, age 74, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Monday, December 28, 2015, at the Hines Veteran's Hospital in Hines, IL. He was born October 17, 1941 in London, England.
Maurice worked for Wheaton College as a stationary engineer and boilerman. He was a member of the Marine Corps and a former member of the Moody Bible Church and Glen Ellyn Bible Church. "Morrie" loved reading his Bible, spending time with his grandchildren, and visiting with old friends. He was proud of his faith in Jesus, family, work and service to his country. His life was marked by kindness for others and unconditional love for his family. His humor brought joy to all.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Quinn; his sons, Shawn, Ryan (Nancy) and Collin (Lisa) Quinn; his daughter, Kara Quinn; six grandchildren, Emily, Grace, Abigail, Samuel, Andrew and Emma; two brothers, Anthony and Edward Quinn; and his sister, Karina Winger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Karina Quinn; and his sister, Valerie Prow.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of a funeral service to be held at 12:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, IL.
