Marycatherine K.
Archer
June 14, 1947 – March 28, 2021
Marycatherine Helene Kletzel Archer, known lovingly to friends and family as "Mimi," departed her family on Sunday, March 28th, 2021. She was born June 14, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Francis & Helen Kletzel.
Mimi devoted her life to loving her family, ministering to youth, mentoring and fostering children and young adults, and expressing her tremendous generosity to all she met. People remember her as one who gave all of herself to comfort the ailing and bereaved and expressing her devotion to living a Catholic life. Mimi loved reading, music, antique hunting, gardening, and genuine conversations over a good cup of coffee. Mimi was a collector of memories and a faithful "celebrator". She never missed a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion for all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bill Archer; her children William (Sam), Deirdre (Matt) Butler, & John (Nora); her grandchildren Sean, Connor & Abby Archer and Aubrey Butler. It is noted that only her Grandchildren knew her secret-identity, "Ninja-Grandmom". Marycatherine is also survived by her brother Francis (Janice) Kletzel; her sister-in-law Marge Kletzel; and numerous nieces & nephews. Mimi's memory is cherished by her "second family" John and Debbie Smith, and their sons Matthew, Alex, Steven, and Nicholas, for whom she served as caretaker and mentor.
Preceded in death by her brothers Joseph & John Kletzel and her parents.

You're everything I wish I could be
I could fly higher than an eagle,
For you are the wind beneath my wings."
