MaryAnne M. Klein, age 87, a resident of Belmont Village in Carol Stream, died Thursday, October 27, at home. She was born August 7, 1918 in Kirtland, OH.
Miss Klein worked as the Candidate Secretary of Latin American Mission for 15 years. She was also the Director of Missions at Wheaton Bible Church for 11 years. She was known for her enthusiastic zest for life. She touched many lives with her contagious love for God and His people. She had a special connection with young people and she often said, "They help keep me young".
She is survived by her brother, Raymond (Evelyn) Klein; her nieces and nephews, Alice (Ed) Vilade, Mary Ellen Johnson, Carol Remington, Nancy (Verlin) Triplett, Timothy Remington, Pamela Roe, Susan (Robert) Youngblood, Kimmerly (Randy) Baxter, and Steven Klein; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Amelie Klein; and her beloved sister, Hanna (Hilreth) Remington.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 5, at Community Fellowship Church, 28W 240 North Ave., in West Chicago. Interment is private.
