Mary C. Ventimiglia, age 70 a resident of Palos Hills and formerly of Port St. Lucie, Florida, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 8 in South Bend, Indiana. Mary was born on October 21, 1946 to Charles and Connie Palici in Chicago.

She grew up in the Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. After starting a family at a young age, she raised four daughters as a single mom. She worked hard at many different jobs to provide for her family. She was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Burbank. She enjoyed cooking and being creative. She loved to go to the beach in Florida, most of all she loved to be with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by four daughters, Laura (Frank) Kolalis of Orland Park, Sherri (Ron) Faltin of Plainfield, Tammy (Jeff) Walls of Vandallia, MI and Michele Marshall of Orland Park, ten grandchildren, Erin, Sara, Ryan, Katie, Jacob, Michelle, Jeremiah, Matthew, Adam and Amber, four great-grandchildren, Evan, Ethan, Gavin and Jasper, her sisters, Debbie Scianna and Rhonda McVey, and her brother, Steve Scaccianoce, as well as nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 14, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Burbank, 7958 Leclaire Ave., Burbank, IL 60459, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be held privately.
