Mary R. Pooley, age 93, formerly of Duluth, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She was born February 5, 1913 in Framingham, Massachusetts. While living in Duluth, she was a member of the First Unitarian Church, the League of Women Voters, and served on the Duluth Library Board. She was preceded in death by her husband John and is survived by daughters Sarah (Don) Chapman of New Boston, NH and Martha (Paul) Barmantje of West Chicago, IL; Grandchildren Scott (Julie) Bennett,Eric (Amy) Bennett, Matthew (Sarah) Chapman, Hillary (Tim) Lang, Katie (Rich) Tomlinson; four great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter.
