Mary Ellen McCormick, age 75, a resident of Oldsmar, FL and formerly a longtime resident of Villa Park, IL died Thursday August 10, 2017. She was born on February 13, 1942 in Berwyn, IL to Stanley and Margaret Zegadlo.

She attended Morton East High School in Cicero, IL and graduated in 1959. During her younger years she worked for Western Electric, but went on to become a successful realtor with J.W. Reedy and Coldwell Banker. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved her family dearly. Mary Ellen moved many times throughout her lifetime and made many friends along the way. She had a knack for transforming a house into a home with her talent for remodeling and gardening. She loved to study the bible and was a regular participant in Bible Study Fellowship. She also conducted small bible studies with anyone who shared her love for God's word. During her last years, she loved to serve the Lord by helping anyone who was in need of assistance in any way.

Mary Ellen is survived by her children Jeffrey Vitek and Susan (Peter) Walsh and their children, Caitlyn and Matthew.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 4:30 p.m. and dinner immediately following at Warrenville Bible Chapel , 4s157 Curtis Ave., Warrenville, IL 60555.
