Mary "Scottie" L. Houliston's Obituary
Mary L. "Scottie" Houliston, age 101, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died May 30, 2012, at home. She was born August 27, 1910 in Chicago.
Mary was the oldest living member of First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton. She and her family had a summer home in Fontana, WI and spent many happy summers there. She worked at Chicago Title Insurance until retirement in 1975. After retirement she was involved in many park district programs. She loved being in the Happy Hoofers.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John and sister, Loretta. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth (the late John) Houliston; nieces, Barbara (the late Vincent) Palmer and Betsy Houliston all of Wheaton.
A memorial service will be held June 3, 2012 at 3:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton. A reception will follow.
Memorial gifts may be directed to CNA Hospice, 690 E. North Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188.
