A Tribute to Our Grandma
Courageous:
She left her home country, her family, her native language to follow her
husband to America. At age 18. With a 2-month-old baby.
Devoted:
She lived a life of unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.
Always praying, always rejoicing, and always giving thanks.
Disciplined:
She loved God's Word and spent morning after morning pouring
over its pages and feasting on the truth.
Hospitable:
She generously and continuously opened her home, dishing out
warmth, kindness, and *delicious* food to all who entered in.
Humility:
She constantly tended to others' needs before her own. She was the last
to sit down and the first to get up.
Loving:
She loved people so well. We always felt as if we were her favorite. And yet,
so did everyone else. We will be forever grateful that this woman,
who modeled the love of Jesus, is our grandma.
