Martha Malanowski, age 89, a resident of Wheaton, IL, and formerly a long-time resident of Alsip, Illinois and of Brooksville and Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 16, 2020, at home. She was born June 17, 1931 in Chicago, the eldest of 4 children to John and Catherine Bidochka.

Martha grew up in Chicago and graduated from Gage Park High School. She married Richard G. Malanowski and they had six children. She worked at Spiegel for her whole career. She retired as a manager in the accounts receivable department. After she retired she moved to Florida, where she enjoyed being with fellow retirees.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Karen (Dr. Michael) O'Mara of Chicago, Richard Malanowski of Altamonte Springs, FL, Nancy Antonelli of Frankfort, Kathleen Guerrero of Crestwood, Christine Borwankar of Wheaton, and George Malanowski of Alsip, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

Due to the pandemic, services will be held privately.
