Marta Luengo's Obituary
Marta Ana Luengo, age 84, a resident of Wheaton for 38 years, passed away peacefully at Central Dupage Hospital on on May 23, 2015. She was born to Alfonso Marillie Mallarol and Martha Schweinsberg Queller on December 15, 1930.
Marta grew up in Santiago Chile where she met her loving husband of 61 years, Jose M. Luengo. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed life, her friends and always helping others. She was well loved and regarded by all who met her. She was very kind and generous.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jose M. Luengo of Wheaton IL; her children, Gladys (Denis) Gachot of La Jolla CA, Jose A. Luengo of Wheaton IL, and Miguiel L. (Joan) Luengo of Aurora IL; her grandchildren, Mathalic Anne (Patrick) Gachot of San Francisco CA, Stephanie Marie Gachot of Phoenix AZ, Philip Denis Gachot of La Jolla CA, Cody Luengo of Aurora IL, and Caleb Luengo of Aurora, IL; and many nieces and nephews in Chile.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Elizabeth L. Hammond.
A private family service will be held at Wheaton Cemetery on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
