On Monday, April 4, 2022, after a short illness, Marsha Edmonds Snyder, 76, went peacefully to be with her Lord Jesus Christ. She was a longtime resident of Wheaton, living with her husband Charles Snyder of 44 years. Marsha was born on August 29, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Harry Kaster and Dorothy Nauman Edmonds, and was seventh generation Pennsylvania Dutch.

Marsha had three children with her first husband, Philip Aughnay; Kristin Aughnay, Erin Aughnay Pickrell (Bob) and Peter Aughnay. By marriage, she has a step-son, Brad Snyder (Lisa). She is preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Peter. She was the oldest of three girls; Melanie Edmonds of Fort Myers, Florida and Mindy Edmonds Cabanillas (Steven) of Jacksonville, Florida.

Marsha, aka "Mimi" has 10 grandchildren; Stefanie, Annie, and Luke Sezonov, Cassidy and Kylie Pickrell, Payton Aughnay, and Jake, Abby, Caleb, and Zachary Snyder.  She was a beloved Aunt "Marnie" to Katie, and Ian Cabanillas.

She has cousins; Judith Morris and John Roth (Pat), Robert Morris (Amanda).

Marsha was a faithful believer of Jesus Christ and attended Wheaton Bible Church and Willow Creek Church.

She enjoyed taking care of all of her Maltese dogs; Max, Trooper, and Bentley. She loved to travel, read, cook, shop downtown Chicago with friends, she held a membership with the Wheaton Woman's Garden Club, and would knit several times a week with her friends in a knitting group.

Marsha lived a full life filled with dignity, loyalty, and grace, and was loved by so many.
