Mark Robert Loth, age 52, a longtime resident of Wheaton, IL, died suddenly of a heart attack on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. He was born September 19, 1958 in Fort Worth, TX.
Mark was a proud Wolverine and graduate of Wheaton-Warrenville High School. He continued his education at Northern Illinois University and received a Masters Degree from Lewis University. He worked at Gage Engineers in Oakbrook.
His family nickname was "Mr. Wonderful" as he did everything and could fix anything. He was an avid golfer, cat lover and NASCAR enthusiast. He was a wonderful and proud father, cherished husband, loving son, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kathryn Gates Loth, two children, Andrew Robert and Melanie Lewis Loth, his mother, LaNell Loth of Wheaton, two sisters, Lauri (Brad) Petersburg of Hanover, IL and Susan (Michael) Papierski of Glen Ellyn, and six nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Edward Loth in 2001.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Gary United Methodist Church.
