Marjorie Ann Nicholas, age 93, a resident of Dartmouth Village in Wheaton, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. She was born in St. Charles, Illinois on August 5, 1929 to Henry and Jessie Kinst.

Marge graduated from St. Charles High School. After high school, she worked for Illinois Bell Telephone Company for 32 years.

Marge had a passion for art. She was always sketching, painting or creating with clay. She had close ties with the DuPage Art League and many homes of family and friends are adorned with her beautiful and thoughtful creations.

Marge also filled her time working with the Garden Club of Wheaton, spending many hours at the Morton Arboretum, frequenting the Wheaton Public Library, and doing some modeling for the Little Traveler in Geneva.

Marge entertained family and friends often over the years. She enjoyed making delicious meals for everyone, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also enjoyed spending time with her four great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her stepson Howard (Esther) Nicholas, her nieces Tammy (John) DiFulvio and Tina Kinst, her granddaughters Kim (Perry) Johnson and Keri (Dave) Burgess, and her great-grandchildren Caitlin, Julia, Renee, and Nicholas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Nicholas, her brothers Henry and Jerry Kinst, and her parents Henry and Jessie Kinst.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 2:00-3:00pm at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton, IL 60187. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm. Interment will be private at the Wheaton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Morton Arboretum or Wheaton Public Library.
