Marion L. Smith's Obituary
Marion L. Smith, age 94, a resident of Wheaton, died February 26, 2011, at Central Du Page Hospital in Winfield, Illinois. She was born January 20, 1917 in Howard City,Michigan.
Marion was a life member of the Photographic Society of America where she was chairman of the Technique Division many times. She was an active member of the Central DuPage Camera Club and the Chicago Stereo Club where she and her husband received a medal from the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind for their fundraising efforts. Marion often taught programs at nationwide conventions on tabletop lighting for photography. She and her husband have judged more than ten international photography competitions.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald H. Smith and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles, Michigan.
