Marion Pascale, nee Dwyer, age 82, a resident of Wheaton, IL for 28 years, and formerly of Elmhurst, IL for 25 years, died Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born September 29, 1933 in Chicago, IL.
Marion was the oldest of five children and grew up in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago. She attended St. Angela's and Siena High School and then Oak Park Hospital Nursing School. She worked as a Registered Nurse, practicing at Loretto, Elmhurst and St. Elizabeth's Hospitals. She loved to volunteer and participated in many charitable organizations including Providentia, Meals on Wheels, and the local Food Pantry.
Marion was happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild and her large, loving family. She was an avid bridge player, an active member of the Western Springs and Act II Senior Clubs, and a loyal parishioner of St. Michael's Parish in Wheaton, where she also volunteered.
Marion passed away quietly on Thursday, February 4th after a brief illness. She had rallied from a number of illnesses many times, but was now ready, or as she put it, "God was ready for her now."
She is survived by her three children, Michael (Gina) Pascale of Monument, CO, James (Cindy) Pascale of Edina, MN, and Camille Pascale of Glen Ellyn, IL; 12 grandchildren, Joseph and Robert, Stephanie and Jack, Melanie and Jamie, and Kelly, Anthony, Katie, Samantha, Liam and Melaina; her great-grandson, Mason; her sister, Gina Millette; her brother, William Dwyer; her sister in-law, Camille Pascale; many nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her parents, William and Jessie (nee Maher) Dwyer; her sister, MargAnne Dwyer; her brother, Martin Dwyer; her daughter-in-law, Sarah; and her brother-in-law, Fred.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at
St. Michael Catholic Church
, 310 S. Wheaton Ave, Wheaton, IL 60187. The Mass will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. at church. Interment will be private at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
