Marilyn Ruth Tank, age 89, a resident of Wheaton, IL passed away Thursday,  December 16, 2021.  She was born July 13, 1932 in Taipei, Formosa Japan (now Taiwan) to missionaries James & Lillian Dickson.

Marilyn graduated from Wheaton College in 1950 with a liberal arts degree.  She married her husband, Vernon William Tank in Okinawa, Japan in 1958 and spent the next 35+ years as missionaries in Taiwan. After retirement, Vernon and Marilyn continued serving the Taiwanese people of the Evangelical Formosan Church of Chicago for the remainder of both their lives.

Marilyn is survived by her four children, David Tank, Linda Hawkins, Sheryl Nuygen, Lori DeMoss as well as five grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon William Tank.

Interment was held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
