Marilyn Carver, age 99, a resident of Spring Grove, Illinois, passed awayMay 30, 2024. She was born at home on April 27, 1925 in Forest Park, Illinois.

Marilyn worked at Ball Seed Company in West Chicago for 23 years andwas a member of St. Michael's United Church of Christ in West Chicago. She married at 22 to Marvin Neil Carver. After the sudden passing of her husband, she moved and successfully raised three teenagers by herself while working full time.

Marilyn had a keen interest in plants and flowers of all kinds, and was the "green thumb" of the family. She was a true lover of nature. She also loved anything to do with birds, cats and dogs and all animals outdoors. Babies and children never failed to bring a smile to her face, even in her
later years.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Boelter of River Grove, IL, daughter Ginny (Darrell) Larson of Spring Grove, IL, son Kenneth Carver of River Grove, IL, 6 grandchildren and 10 and counting great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Oler, her brothers George and Thomas Oler and her husband Marvin Carver.

A Memorial visitation will be held June 11th, 2024, from 9 am till the time of the service at 11:00 am at Hultgren Funeral Home 304 N. Main Street, Wheaton IL, 60187. Private Interment Glen Oak cemetery West Chicago, Illinois.
