Obituary
Marie A. Tatge, nee Steinwart, age 85, a resident of Toledo, and formerly of Wheaton for 50 years, died on Saturday, August 28 at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born on December 24, 1918 in Dundee.
Mrs. Tatge was a homemaker and a lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary (Robert Lange) Tatge of Madison, WI, and Linda (James) Jenkins of Toledo, OH; two grandchildren, Morgan Tatge Lange of Chicago, and Taylor Tatge Lange, of Madison; her twin sister, Ruth Schwulst of Bloomington, IL; and her brother, Paul Steinwart of Bristol, IL, and brother-in-law Fred Suria of Barrington, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, P. Hayward Tatge; and her brothers, Frank Steinwart, and John Steinwart.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, from 5 until 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, where services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Private burial services will follow at Dundee Township Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church, 125 E. Seminary Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187.
