Marie "Dolly" Fischer, nee Newman, died September 10, 2017.

She was the beloved wife of Richard E. Fischer for 67 years, mother of Richard, Robert, Pamela (Christopher) Dayney, Russell (Tonya), and fond grandmother of Tyler, Kendall, Shaun, Theresa, Theresa E., Ian, Elijah, and Genevieve.

Dolly was born and raised in Chicago where she graduated from Kelly High School.  She was a longtime resident Arlington Heights, Illinois and Punta Gorda, Florida.  She was a member of the Skokie Valley Power Squadron, Platinum Point Yacht Club, Golf League Coordinator, Bridge Club, Ceramics Teacher, Linus Quilt Club and fundraising for Veterans.  She was a former office manager for Weber marking Systems and RCI in Arlington Heights. We will dearly miss her quick wit, constant sense of humor and her keen insight.  Her loving kindness will always be remembered.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist  Catholic Church in Winfield, Illinois.
