Marian McGuire, nee Ochsner, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Dear wife of the late Ignatius McGuire, loving mother of Ig (Jan), Don (Maureen), Mike, Erin Leinweber, and James. Adoring and much loved grandmother of Ryan (Crystal), Kevin, Meghan, Shannon, Kerry, Brian, Bree (Andy), Chaz (Liz) and Jason (Jan). Proud great-grandmother of Billy, Carleigh, Michael, and Sophie.

Marian grew up in Berwyn and lived more than 57 years in the Glen Ellyn-Wheaton area. Her life was devoted to her family as a caring wife, wonderful mother and doting grandmother. In her later years she worked in the restaurant business in Oak Brook, Glen Ellyn and Geneva where she met many wonderful friends.

Marian was the daughter of John and Marion Ochsner, sister of Shirley, the late John, Dan, the late Michael, and Pat, all who she loved so dearly. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, who brought much joy to her life.

Visitation will be held at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton on Friday, August 26, from 4:00 until 8:30 p.m. A mass celebrating her life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Sat., Aug. 27 at St. Petronille, Glen Ellyn. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
