Maria P. Sanchez, age 76, a resident of Glendale Heights, IL, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 9, 2020.  She was born October 21, 1943 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

Maria came to Chicago in 1963. Her proudest accomplishment was raising her three children as a single parent. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandson whom she adored. She lived a simple but loving life with her family.

Mom truly represented The Proverbs 31 Woman: Proverbs 31:25-32
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed;..."Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

She is survived by her three children, Laura Sanchez of Glendale Heights, Robert Sanchez of Glendale Heights and Maria "Bebe" Sanchez of St. Charles, her grandson, Robert Sanchez Jr. and her beloved dog, Joey "Jojo".

Services will be held privately.
