Obituary
Maria D. Hernandez, age 37, a resident of Carol Stream, and formerly of Dallas, TX, died Friday, November 30, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. She was born May 31, 1970 in Dallas, TX.
Maria worked for Blachford, Inc. in West Chicago for five years. She loved children, and was an avid collector of Disney figurines. She loved her cockatiel birds. She was always helping other people and was known to have a "heart of gold".
She is survived by her father, Isaias Hernandez of Dallas, TX; her brother, Isaias Hernandez, Jr. of Mesquite, TX; two sisters, Elizabeth Hernandez of Dallas, TX, and Raquel Hernandez of Irving, TX; three nieces; two nephews; and her good friend, Theresa Caballero and family of West Chicago, IL, and Celia Ballines and family also of West Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria D. Hernandez.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, from 2-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Services and interment will be held in Mesquite, TX at a later date.
Memorials may be directed to Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 7669, Atlanta, GA 30357-0669.
