Margaret "Marge" Ruth Suvler (Glaser/Pohl), aged 90, passed away on July 7, 2025, in Carol Stream, Illinois. Born on August 29, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois. Marge will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, deep faith, and love of family and community.

A graduate of Steinmetz High School and Concordia College, Marge pursued a banking career, drawn by her love of numbers. She and her first husband, Dallas Glaser, settled in Glendale Heights, where they raised three children and Marge became known for her hospitality and community involvement. She was a founding member and organist at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

After moving to Carol Stream, Marge married Leo Suvler and remained active in the community through the Carol Stream Park District and Our Saviors Lutheran Church, where she continued playing organ. Her home was always open, and baked goods were always ready, and her homemade cinnamon bread was a family favorite.

Later in life, Marge moved to Windsor Park, where she stayed active on various councils and shared her love of baking and music. She was a member of Family in Faith Church and after 70 years of playing the organ had her final performance in July 2024. Marge volunteered frequently and supported the church food pantry. Her faith sustained her.

She is survived by her children, Carol Buckley, David Glaser (Karen), and Donald Glaser (Lisa); eight grandchildren, Stephanie Buckley, Timothy Buckley (Megan), Joseph Buckley (Megan), Nathan Glaser (Amy), Rachel Woodard (Karey), Matthew Glaser, Hannah Glaser, and Bethany Glaser; and one great-grandson, Desmond J. Woodard. Marge was preceded in death by her husbands, Dallas M. Glaser and Leo Suvler.

Services will be held on July 22, 2025, at Family in Faith Lutheran Church, 1480 Bloomingdale Rd, Glendale Heights, IL.

Visitation from 10–11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery in Glen Ellyn on the corner of St Charles & Riford.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Family in Faith Lutheran Church food pantry, a project dear to Marge's heart.
