Margaret "Peg" Montague, age 92, a resident of Carol Stream, IL, passed away peacefully at her Windsor Park home on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She was born October 10, 1922 in Worcester, MA.

Peg was raised in Providence, RI and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary O'Keefe. She was a proud graduate of Classical High School in Providence.

Throughout her life, Peg was an avid bridge player and, once her children were raised, she developed a passion for golf. She always appreciated spending time with her family and friends. She was also a voracious reader. Some of her most treasured memories involved the close friendships that she and her husband enjoyed with the many members of their Warwick, RI "couples club".

She is survived by her three children, Gail (Michael) Hoffman of Naperville, IL, Pamela Montague of Doylestown, PA, and James H. (Helen) Montague Jr. of Little Compton, RI; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Michael O'Keefe, and Hugh (Shirley) O'Keefe.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Montague; her son, Jeffrey Montague; and her siblings, Arthur O'Keefe, Thomas O'Keefe, John O'Keefe, Joseph O'Keefe and Esther Creegan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Johnson Health Care Center of Windsor Park, 124 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Stream, IL 60187.
