Margaret C. "Maggie" Lane, age 86, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born September 15, 1928 in Avon, IL.

She graduated "Summa Cum Laude" with a Master in Library Science from Rosary College now known as Dominican University. She was a Librarian for many years in Wheaton, and then Lombard, IL. She was a member of the League of Women Voters and served two years as a local chapter president.

Margaret is survived by her sister, Phyliss McMinn; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter H Lane; and her brother, Alger B. Curtiss.

Services and interment are private at Wheaton Cemetery, in Wheaton, IL.
