Margaret M. Buss' Obituary
Margaret M. Buss, age 96, a resident of Glen Ellyn since 1952, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 14, 2014, at home in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She was born September 10, 1918 in Geneva, Illinois to Dominick and Patricia Difazzio.
She grew up in Geneva and graduated from Wheaton High School. She worked in downtown Wheaton at the 5 and 10 store, where she met Arthur Buss. They were married after he returned from WWII in 1946. Margaret was a hard worker and worked at Butler Brothers in Chicago as well as at Illinois Bell in Wheaton.
She raised her two daughters in Glen Ellyn where she served as a room mother. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, and, as a young woman, playing tennis.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Martin) Farber of Glen Ellyn, and Donna (Darrell) Daley of Wheaton, five grandchildren, Michelle, Tim, Brian, Luke and April, seven great-grandchildren, Thomas, Julia, Karis, Keona, Mika Mae, Charlotte and Soren, and one sister, Santa Conde.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, five siblings and her parents.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL, where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
