Marc D. Poormon, age 37, a resident of Denver, Colorado, died suddenly on January 15. He was born August 20, 1977 in Michigan City, Indiana to Daniel and the late Deborah Poormon.
Marc was a gentle soul who cared deeply about the people he loved and the world around him. He was extremely passionate about his philosophy of life. He felt most at peace when he could enjoy nature through cycling or walking. Marc possessed the heart and soul of an artist. He was gifted in woodworking, and he especially immersed himself in all types of music. Marc had a quest for knowledge that was never ending. His love, compassion, and artistry represent the enduring legacy that we will continue to remember and celebrate.
He is survived by his father, Daniel and mother Barbara Poormon of Winfield, IL; brother, Grant (Anne Russmann) Poormon, Aunts: Janice (Glenn) Ohlson, Lee Ann (Douglas) Narup; Cousins: Kara (Kasey) Klaas, Dana Ohlson and Anna Ohlson, Rhonda (Daniel) Madden, Heather (Jan) White, and Lacey White.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 12-4 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N Main St, in Wheaton, IL. A private interment will take place later in Battle Creek, MI.
