Marc James Coyne, age 36 and 9 year resident of Montgomery, Il, passed peacefully on the evening of Friday the 18th of March at Seasons Hospice Centre in Naperville, Il after a year long battle against cancer.
Marc was truly a gift being born on the 26th of December, 1979 in St. Charles, Il. He grew up in Wheaton, Il and later worked for Elliot Construction Corp. He was a member of Union Concrete Laborer Local 4 and took pride in a hard day's work. Marc was an avid hockey player beginning to play at the young age of 5 and continuing through high school, hockey was his number one passion; he was a diehard Chicago Blackhawks fan. Anything he put his mind to he could accomplish as he so often showed with his RZR 4 Wheeler and various toys. He enjoyed the great outdoors and would camp and ride his motorcycle as long as the weather permitted. He had a mind for the mechanical world, fixing anything and everything, earning himself the nickname 'McGyver'.
Marc is survived by his parents, John and Cindy Coyne, his grandmother, Shirley Bridwell, his sister, Tina Long and his two nephews Logan and Carter, his longtime girlfriend Sydnie Moran and their dog Kasper. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Melvin Thielk and his grandparents Jack and Betty Coyne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday the 26th of March between 1:00 - 6:00pm at Hultgren Funeral Home in Wheaton, Il.
