Mabel Camilla Christopherson, age 101, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton, IL. She was the daughter of Herman and Martha Lien, and born on April 17, 1910 in her parents' home in Walsh County, ND.

Mabel attended Walsh County Agriculture School. In June of 1937 she married Clarence Christopherson. To this union three children were born, Lyndis, Norman, and Kenneth. They also had two children, Grace and Lois from Clarence's first marriage whose wife died from cancer. In 1948 she moved with her family to Wheaton, IL.

She is survived by her sons, Norman (Bridgette) and Kenneth (Diane); 12 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; her daughter, Lyndis; and two step-daughters, Grace and Lois.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. to be held at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
