Lynn M. Johnson, age 66, a resident of Wheaton, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

She was born August 14, 1957 in Sheboygan, WI. She was graduate of Cedar Grove High School and Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL. After her studies, she moved to the Wheaton area where she met and married David Johnson on July 10, 1982. Together they adopted their only son, Derek, on July 25, 1993. Lynn was a certified public accountant and worked for several entities in the Chicagoland area. She loved to cross-stitch and was a talented homemaker. She was an amazing mother with a caring heart and a faithful servant to the Lord. She was an active member of Wheaton Bible Church and participated in the Koinonia Adult Community at the church.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, David; her son Derek; her father Ronald Mentink of Cedar Grove, WI; and her siblings Tedd (Terri) Mentink of Oostburg, WI and Tim (Rosemary) Mentink of Cedar Grove, WI.

She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Mentink.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
