Ludivina L. Gomez's Obituary
Ludivina L. Gomez, age 70, a resident of West Chicago, IL, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. She was born April 14, 1942 in Ciego de Avila, Cuba.
She was a nurse for 30 years, serving 2 years in Ethiopia.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Enrique Brown of West Chicago; five children, Maria Garcia Legon, Renaldo Jesus Garcia Legon, Antonio Abat Legon, Alain Brown and Elizabeth Garcia Legon of Cuba; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Frank Garcia Legon.
A memorial service will be held on Friday July 20, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Wheaton, 1310 N. Main St., Wheaton, IL 60187. Interment will be private.
Memorial gifts may be directed to the church.
