Lucy F. Abraham, age 87, a former resident of Carol Stream and Kingston, died Thursday, April 3 at the DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center. She was born on July 22, 1920 to Peter and Vinceza Fracassi.
Lucy retired in 1985 after 30 years at the First National Bank of Chicago. She loved to knit and crochet and play bingo. She enjoyed many roadtrips to the Indian casinos in Wisconsin. She enjoyed family gatherings, her many friends and shopping.
Lucy is survived by her children, Jim (Arlene) Abraham, Marilyn (John) Batson, and Barbara (Allan) Haberkamp; 11 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren; her brother Raymond (the late Jeanette) Fracassi, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Abraham in 1978, her daughter, Joan in 2007, and her brothers Angelo and Tony.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton.
