Lucile Elizabeth Ude, age 97, a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, and formerly of Winnetka, from 1942-1986, died Thursday, April 9. She was born on July 2, 1911 in Cooksville, Illinois to George and Izora Wissmiller. On August 12, 1936, she married Norman E. Ude in
Cooksville.
Family was her focus, and her love of the Lord was evident in all she
did throughout her life.
She is survived by two daughters, Caren (Ralph) Pfaff of Highland Park,
and Linda (Gary) Bisbee of New Canaan, CT; five grandchildren, Randy (Becky) Pfaff, Susan Almer, Julie (Andy) Bonner, and Gary Bisbee and Katie (Michael Szarowicz) Bisbee; and seven great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brian and Michael Pfaff, Molly, Amy and Lucy Almer and Jackson Bonner. She is also survived by her brother, Evan Wissmiller.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman E. Ude in 1999, and by 5 brothers.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Windsor Park Manor, 124 Windsor Park Dr., in Carol Stream. Interment is private at Blue Mound Cemetery in Cooksville, IL.
