Louise E. Smith, age 72, a longtime resident of Wheaton, and formerly of Crest Hill, IL, died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Westbury Care Center in Lisle, IL. She was born February 20, 1939 in Chicago.

She was a member at First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton. She worked with special needs children at the Billy Graham Association in Wheaton. She enjoyed scrapbooking and being with family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Gregory Guy (Trina) Smith of Skokie, IL; her daughter, Laurel Louise (Joe) Grek of Bolingbrook, IL; her grandsons, Nathaniel Reed Janes-Smith, and Theodore Robert Janes-Smith; her two sisters, Linda W. (Mike) Martin, her twin, of Tulsa, OK, and Laurel (Donald) Johnson of Tucson, AZ; many nieces and nephews; and many close personal friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011, from 4-8 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, where services will be held on Friday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
