Obituary
Louise E. Guest, age 97, a resident of Wheaton, IL, and formerly a longtime resident of Peckville, PA, died Tuesday, April 19 at the Wynscape Nursing Center. She was born on June 18, 1907 in Columbia, NY to Charles and Anna MacMullen. She grew up in Honesdale and Carbondale, PA.
She was an organist and Sunday School Teacher at the First Baptist Church of Peckville for over 40 years. She was also past-president of the PTA at No. 1 School in Peckville and involved with other civic organizations.
Louise is survived by one son, Judson (Joan) Guest of Carol Stream, IL, two grandchildren, Joanna and Eleanor Guest, and a niece, Nancy Eberling and her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Judson in 1975 and her sister, Helen Corkrin.
Services will be held at the Robert Decker Funeral Home, 702 River St. in Peckville on Saturday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
