Louis Celli, age 91, a resident of Wheaton, passed away August 18, 2021. He was born September 15, 1929 in Peckville, Pennsylvania to Guerrino and Santina Celli.

Louis grew up in Peckville and graduated from Elmira College in New York. He worked as a technician at Westinghouse where he met his wife, Irene. Irene passed away in 2014. Louis later became an engineer at Zenith Electronics in Melrose Park, IL and retired after 25 years of service. He was an avid bowler and loved to fish & travel with his loving companion, Joy Lapano.

He is survived by his three children, Anita (Irv Pavlik) Celli, Carl (Bobbi Jo) Celli and Michael (Cindy) Celli; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife Irene; his brothers Geno & Alfred; and his parents.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 310 S. Wheaton Ave., Wheaton, IL 60187 , where a mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois .
