Lorraine B. Zasadny, age 93, a resident of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, IL, and formerly a longtime resident of Oak Park, IL, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, October 14, at Windsor's Johnson Healthcare Center. She was born on June 7, 1915 in Chicago, IL.

Lorraine lived in Oak Park for 45 years before moving to Windsor Park Manor in 1990. She was also a longtime member of River Forest Bible Chapel. She was active in school and church functions and befriended many students of Emmaus Bible School. She was known to host a number of ministries from her home including Bible studies, Vacation Bible Schools, and a Gospel Tract ministry. Sharing her faith in Jesus was an important part of her life. She was well loved and known by her neighbors. Writing letters was a commitment of hers for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her brother, Warren Kremske; her sons, Robert of Oakland City, IN, Peter (Jackie) of Anderson, SC, Daniel of Schaumburg, IL, and David of Elmwood Park, IL; her grandchildren, Michael and Paul, Jill (Jason), Mark (Hannah), and Joy, Mark Browne, and Andrew (Tracy), Sharon (Kevin) Marks, Bethany (Ed) Sanchez, Rachel, and Peter; and her great-grandchildren, Emily, Abby, Will, and Violet, Brianna and Austin, Tyler and Kyle, and Dylan and Jeremy; her daughters-in-law, Charlotte and Pam; and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Peter; her great-grandson, Jacob; and her parents, Lillian and Arthur Kremske.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, from 5-8 P.M. and again on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of a service at 12:00 P.M. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park, IL.
