Lorraine B. Johnson, age 77, a resident of Wheaton, died Friday, July 18 at Wynscape Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 12, 1931 in Chicago to Fred and Bertha Reisert.

She graduated from Harper High School in Chicago in 1949. She married Gordon S. Johnson at St. Brendan Catholic Church located at 69th & Racine in 1951. She worked for Langen-Haeger Insurance for 30 years. Lorraine liked to travel and went on several cruises. She enjoyed gardening. She also was an avid Cubs and Bears fan.

She is survived by her loving husband Gordon S., her son Gordon M.(Anne) and a daughter Barbara L. Johnson, six grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty(Walter)Brightmore, and Alice(the late Richard)Dukelow, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Virginia(Melvin "Swede")Erickson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22, from 3 - 8 PM at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. Prayers will begin at 9:15 AM Wednesday, July 23, proceeding to St. Mark Catholic Church for a 10:00 AM Mass. Interment to follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
