Lorraine L. Cichy, age 81, a resident of Wheaton, and formerly a lifelong resident of Bellwood, died Friday, April 16 at Glen Oaks Hospital in Glendale Heights. She was born in Chicago on March 4, 1929 to Peter and Jeanet Pomorin.

She lived for many years in Bellwood where she was a member of St. Simions Parish.

Lorraine is survived by two children, Diana (Keith) Nelli of Bloomingdale and Katherine (Donald) Rank of Wheaton, and grandchildren, Becky, Brian (Jennifer) and Aaron Nelli, and Stephanie and Christopher Rank and one great-grandson, Braden Nelli. She is also survived by one sister Phyllis Sanchez.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harry C. Cichy and one son Gary C. Cichy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 19 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton, where prayers will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, Winfield.

Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
