Loraine Rigazio, age 76, a resident of Wheaton since 1962, died Monday, July 9, 2012. She was born June 13, 1936 in Chicago to Edward and Francis Widlak.
Loraine graduated from York High School in Elmhurst. She met John Rigazio while working at Harvester and they were married on August 24, 1957 in San Diego, where John was stationed. They raised their family in Wheaton, where she worked at Produce Reporter.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid reader, Cub fan, and enjoyed movies and crossword puzzles. She was a friend to all animals.
She is survived by her husband, John Rigazio, her children, Dawn (Pete) Shafer of Breckenridge, CO, Melissa (Bill) Gasper of Burr Ridge, John (Anne) Rigazio of Clarendon Hills, and Julie (Paul) Bettinger of Westminster, CO, three grandchildren, Andy Gasper, and Abby and Avery Rigazio, her mother, Francis Widlak of Villa Park and her sister, Nancy Harrington of Wheaton.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may visit with the family from 11 until 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton.
