Loraine I. Peterson's Obituary
Loraine Iona Peterson, age 87, a former resident of Wheaton, died Tuesday, December 22, at the Alden Northmore Nursing Center in Chicago. She was born on October 2, 1922 in River Forest to Charles and Clara Peterson.
She had been an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Wheaton and was a realtor for Caldwell Banker. She also was involved with Leader Dog for the Blind.
Loraine is survived by her niece, Linda Jurczyk, great-nephew, Joshua Jurczyk and sister-in-law, Lorraine Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles J. Peterson II.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Main and Seminary St. in Wheaton with Rev. Marcus Nelson officiating. Interment will be private at Concordia Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Leader Dogs for the Blind, St. John Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
