Lonnie Patrick Bielan's Obituary
Lonnie P. Bielan, age 92, a resident of Wheaton, IL, died Thursday, October 29, 2015, at the DuPage Convalescent Center in Wheaton, IL. He was born March 17, 1923 in Chicago, IL.
Lonnie served in the Army during World War II and actually fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He had a volunteer's heart and spent lots of his personal time at church serving in many capacities. He always had a smile and a joke for everyone he met.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
A private memorial service was held. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Wheaton Bible Church , 27W500 North Ave, West Chicago, IL 60185.
