Lois Jean Tryba (nee Binder), 72, passed away on September 13, 2012. She is survived by Donald Tryba, her loving husband of 51 years. Lois leaves her brother Robert Binder and sister Judi Orphan; children Tracy (Rogers) Tryba, Toby (Bruce) Padalik, DJ Tryba, and Terry (Matt) Dobereiner; grandchildren Madison Rogers, Morgan and Jesse Padalik, Micah and Sydney Tryba, and Gabrielle and Adeline Dobereiner; and many nieces and nephews.
Lois brought immense laughter and kindness into the lives of others and will be remembered by her "Loey-isms" that made her so loved by many. She faced many medical challenges throughout her life with the utmost strength, grace and courage. She was peacefully welcomed into Heaven with comfort knowing that she is pain-free and whole again.
She will be remembered as a loving wife with unquestionable loyalty; as a mother dedicated to her family, encouraging her children to know there are no barriers to their potential; as a grandmother whose grandchildren delighted her with their creativity and natural abilities; and as a friend, colleague, and acquaintance whose exuded simplicity, kindness, genuineness, and approachability. She was the salt-of-the-earth and an overall good-egg who loved people.
Services for family and friends are to be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 515 S. Wheaton Ave. in Wheaton, IL on Monday, September 24th, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the service to follow at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
